NH POW / MIA Recognition Day

Concord, NH

Sept. 30th, 2005

The Department of New Hampshire VFW and the Ladies Auxiliary held a POW / MIA Vigil on the front steps of the NH State House in honor of the National POW / MIA Recognition Day. The Governor of NH, John Lynch, issued a proclamation that NH will officially observe this day. There were several officials from the VFW that made remarks and offered prayers for the fallen and missing. The NH-CVMA was honored to be invited to this vigil and to the local VFW for a banquet afterwards. It was a fine ceremony for a highly worthy cause.
